Instant ice melt is a urea based product. The benefits of using urea over salt is that it has a freezing point of -11C compared to salt at -5C, it is not corrosive to metalwork as salt is, and it is more environmentally acceptable because of its very low toxicity compared to salt.
Non Toxic - Instant Ice Melt is melt is a much safer compound than rock salt and does not effect animals or water and will not rust your spreading equipment or stain pathways or drives.
