Lacewing Larvae

£15.63 (£13.30 +VAT)

Lacewing Larvae - Lacewing larvae are a natural predator of aphids, able to eat over 300 aphids each.
Lacewing larvae occur naturally in the garden but often aphids numbers explode (especially in warm weather) and the lacewings struggle to eat them all. By releasing extra lacewing larvae, aphids can be controlled naturally.

They are sprinkled over the affected plants and soon settle down to feed on aphids and other soft bodied insects such as whitefly and thrip.

Lacewing larvae can be introduced as soon as the temperatures are above 10°c / 50°f. Introduce lacewing larvae between May and August.

  • 1 Lacewing larvae eats 300 + aphids before turning into another lacewing.

  • Will feed on other pests including whitefly and red spider mite.

  • Safe to use - Safe for children, pets and wildlife - no chemical residues.

  • Easy to apply - Simply shake the lacewing larvae onto the infected plants (over 250 larvae in each pack).
